Does it cost anything to play?
No. batak.pro is entirely free — no payment or subscription required to play.
Can I play without an account?
Yes. The "Continue as guest" button seats you at a table in one tap; your guest name is assigned automatically in the form Misafir-XXXX (Turkish for "Guest"). Guest rounds don't affect your Elo rating, but you do earn XP.
Can I turn my guest account into a real account?
Yes. Register with a username and password from the sign-in screen — your current guest session is upgraded, and your stats, level and achievements carry over unchanged.
What are the username and password rules?
Usernames need at least 3 characters, passwords at least 6. Your password is never stored in plain text anywhere; the server keeps only a secure digest.
When does my rating (Elo) change?
Only in rated rounds: when all four seats at the table were played by real, signed-in players for the whole round. Guest rounds, tables with bot fillers or mid-round leavers, and Solo mode are unrated. Details are on the Scoring page.
What happens if my connection drops?
Your seat is taken over automatically after 60 seconds and the round completes; apart from the round not counting for rating, the table is unharmed. When you return, you rejoin your seat between rounds.
Are the other players bots?
In Solo mode the other three seats are server bots. At other tables, automatic fillers may join waiting tables to complete them; rounds containing fillers are excluded from rating, so your rating is never at risk from them.
How do I change the language?
Pick Turkish/English under Profile → Settings. Theme, nameplate, card design and sound options live in the same panel.
When is Google sign-in coming?
The backend is ready; the button on the sign-in screen activates once it's enabled. For now you can register with username/password or play as a guest.
Can I sit at a table with friends?
Create a table in the lobby and share its code/link with your friends; the game starts when all four seats are taken. A friends list and tournaments are coming soon.
