The game won't load / white screen#

• Reload the page (Ctrl/Cmd+R). Batak runs in the browser; there's nothing to install.
• Enable cookies — your session lives in them, and blocked cookies break sign-in.
• Update your browser; recent Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge are supported.
• Corporate or school networks sometimes cut the connection; try another network.

Stuck on "connecting"#

• The game runs over a live streaming connection; some proxies and firewalls kill long-lived connections like that.
• Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and try again.
• If it persists, reload after a short wait — your table stays put and your seat is held for you for up to 60 seconds.

In-game issues#

• No sound: check Settings → Sound is on and your device isn't muted.
• Cards look frozen: cards are dimmed when it isn't your turn — they light up when the lead comes to you.
• If your clock runs out the server plays a legal card for you; the round is never broken.
